The biggest thing I gained from the teleseminar is that sales resistance is normal.  In order to stop the back and forth tennis match, I need to step over to my customer's side of the court.  I need to really listen to each customer and see if I have what my customer wants.

Loved the putting myself in prospect's shoes, the reverse psychology, the motivational assurance I am capable &, by the way, the customer's perception is that I am a Direct Sales professional making a customer care call. I Really like your approach about the Direct sales Business.I got into this Business, because I was looking to earn some extra money. When you hear the way it is talked about by Reps who want to sign you up. It's oh its easy,& they have no problem with staying Booked.After I got into it, I soon found it is very difficult staying booked, & making enough money to barely be able to pay my minimum on my credit card. So when people ask me about the Business, I'm not comfortable saying, what I found, not to be true.What you are saying is to be honest with people about your Business. Be yourself. I love the way you word everything. I think it is truly refreshing. You just made me realize that I need to go with my gut on this. I felt that I was not normal in the way my Business was going & in the way I felt, about the way I was thinking.From now on I'm going with my instincts thanks to you. It was a true validation for me. I kept going to our meetings feeling very inadequate. all these ladies were getting all this great stuff, I just keep falling short. I think I'm going to concentrate on Individual Orders more than the parties. I think in my area it's the way to go. I will still do as many Parties as I can, But my main focus will be the Individual.Thanks for Everything

I just finished your Tele-Seminar,Jump Start Your Business from a Complete Standstill.  It was wonderfully informative and probably the best $27 I spent in 2009! This being my first training with you I found you to be genuine, honest and warm.  You know what your customers are thinking and understand their thought process.  With a warm, honest and witty way you deliver messages your customers need to hear to retrain their thought process.I wanted to cry during parts of the seminar as I have been trained to be pushy without really realizing it.  No wonder when I get on the phone I rarely book a show.  When I make phone calls I‚ve been taught to be enthusiastic ˆ and probably have been overly enthusiastic.  I give way too many details about hosting a show that must confuse my customers too.  And of course while I‚ve been doing all of this I‚ve been backing them into a corner.  Some of this I've been taught, and some I do unintentionally.  From this moment forward I vow to put my offer on the table quickly and accept no‚ with grace.Another thing you said today hit so close to home I was elated to hear you say it out loud.  I can not tell you how many times I have heard, not bad money for only working a few hour.  I always felt my up-line must think I'm really stupid if I believe what they are saying.  I know how many hours I put into that party before, during and after.  Sometimes I feel I make fifty cents an hour on a challenging party, and other times, I do make twenty-five dollars or more an hour.  But we all know that it's not just a few hours.  Thank you for saying it out loud.  When someone is trying to recruit a prospect and they make statements like this, it discredits the recruiter.Thank you for such a wonderful tele-seminar.  I hope you enjoy your well deserved vacation with your family!

Tammy is always full of different but smart ideas.  On this teleconference, she came from left field with a challenge.  This challenge is to make a list of 10 acquaintances, take a deep breath and call each of them.  It's an opportunity to briefly share with this person about my business and compel each person to host a home party in January or February.  If they don't want to host a party, invite them to my open house to come and have a look" and "give me their 'feedback'.  This idea at first made the hair on my head stand up...but I said 'why not' and made my list.  Already, I've called 8 people.  I am meeting two people for coffee next week and have already extended an invite to my January open house to each of them, I've extended invites personally to 4 others and left a message for the other 2. My list has 21 people on it so far.  Thanks for the challenge Tammy! I'll be calling over this weekend for sure.
